DIRECTOR OF FINANCE & OPERATIONS IN JEFFERSON CITY Salary: $60-$70K/year (Direct Hire) Serve as the chief financial officer for the organization and its subsidiaries. Responsible for operational matters and serves as human resource and technology coordinator. This position is a professional member of the management team, providing leadership for organizational priorities, strategic plan and annual goals. • Works closely with the CEO to provide organizational oversight and assist with special projects as necessitated from operational functions or assigned by the Board of Directors. • Prepares all financial statements, management reports, and other communications for Board of Directors, professional staff, Internal Revenue Service and association members • Responsible for the annual independent audit, ensuring all audited information is accurate and available to the contracted C.P.A. firm • Prepares and manages operational budgets • Monitors and maintains investment portfolio, insurance policies and fixed assets inventory • Supervises the process of accounts receivable/payable, bank account reconciliation and credit card processing • Develops and implements procurement procedures, bid specifications, requests for proposals, and vendor selection justification • Maintains payroll, personnel records and employee benefits; serves as plan administrator for insurance, retirement and cafeteria plans • Oversee administration of the organization's website and computer network, schedule computer hardware/software technicians, and purchasing software; supervises and manages the operation of the organization's database and accounting software • Coordinates training/professional development of staff • College degree or equivalent experience • Accounting/Business &/or nonprofit Finance experience Apply at (including resume) &/or at 1731 Southridge Drive, Jefferson City.
