Sanitation Department Laborer
The City of California is accepting applications for a Sanitation Department Laborer. A successful applicant must be a High School graduate or have a G.E.D. Preferred to have at least a Class B CDL with air brake endorsement upon hire; must be able to obtain a Class B CDL with air brake endorsement upon hire; must be able to obtain a Class B CDL and reside within 20 miles of the City of California within 6 months from hire date. Applicant must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol screening. We offer excellent benefits, including health, dental, vision, sick pay, vacation, holiday pay and 401K retirement plan. Starting pay is $18.08 and normal work hours are from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday - Friday. Applications are available at City Hall, 500 S.
