Information Center Assistant Supervisor

Become a leader for a professional team of essential, customer
service professionals at Missouri’s largest defined benefit pension
plan. We are looking for an organized and motivated Information
Center Assistant Supervisor to join our member services call
center. In this role, you will help lead a team of skilled customer
service professionals who ensure that PSRS/PEERS Retirement
System members have accurate and timely information about their
membership and retirement benefits.

Our Information Center Assistant Supervisor provides support to
the Information Center Supervisor and serves as a liaison between
the Supervisor and staff to ensure that procedures are followed,
while also suggesting ideas to streamline processes.

In this position, you will prioritize, coordinate and participate in
all daily operations of the Information Center, including handling
supervisory tasks such as scheduling, work prioritization, hiring,
coaching/mentoring and the development, maintenance and
implementation of call center policies and goals.

In addition to supervisory responsibilities, you will provide excellent
customer service for our members by responding to our more
complex phone, email and web chat requests. You will view member
records and respond to questions in order to counsel members on
a variety of retirement-related topics.

You will also register members for seminars or counseling and
assist members with issues using our website and online member
information portal.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a business related
field and two years of office experience. Two years of supervisory
experience, as well as experience in the pension industry and call
center operations are preferred.

Certification as a Certified Retirement Counselor is encouraged.
Attendance at a national professional development conference
is required every two years; in-state/in-house professional
development is required annually.

Salary range is $67,444 – $80,933. Benefits include an HSA, vision
and dental insurance, and pension plan with lifetime retirement
benefits and five-year vesting. Three weeks’ paid vacation and three
weeks’ sick leave per year to start, and 12 paid holidays each year.
