Statewide industry trade association, established in 1938 and located in Jefferson City, is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant. This person will report directly to the President of the association and will be responsible for performing a wide range of administrative duties and office support with additional management responsibilities of association staff members. Duties and responsibilities to include, but not limited to: Planning for various meetings, seminars, webinars; Assist in planning, preparation, and recording minutes of board of directors/committee meetings; Administrative business publications and correspondence; Assist with special projects as assigned; and other day-to-day clerical tasks such as data entry, typing, filing, and telephone duties. Requirements include a minimum of three years of experience in an administrative support position and/or in various duties as outlined above. Must possess strong organizational and proofreading skills. PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Must be able to work independently, and have a strong, documented history of exceptional work attendance. Excellent personal communication skills, both verbal and written are required. This is a full-time position with a very competitive benefit package. Starting salary is consistent with statewide industry average for similar positions.
