Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead all functions of the firm’s Finance and Accounting department
- Prepare quarterly/annual consolidated financial statements
- Prepare various schedules for company leadership
- Prepare annual budget and regular forecasts
- Work with outside partners to facilitate annual audit and tax preparation
- Oversee regulatory and tax reporting to state and federal agencies
- Calculate and monitor key performance indicators for the company and personnel
- Establish and monitor financial controls and procedures
- Oversee payroll and employee benefits for personnel
- Manage two direct reports
- Assist with other tasks and duties as necessary
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or emphasis in accounting
- CPA license a plus
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with experience in financial services a plus
- Exceptional knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Willingness to obtain industry license(s)
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrable organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact, coordinate, and influence across departments and staff levels
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced and growth-oriented setting
- Ability to work well independently
- Adaptability to fulfill evolving duties and responsibilities
- Strong computer skills, with advanced to expert Excel skills
- Quickbooks experience a plus
- CRM experience a plus
- Occasional travel required
Salary range: $75,000 - $100,000 commensurate with education and experience, plus bonus potential.
