Director of Finance and Accounting

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead all functions of the firm’s Finance and Accounting department
  • Prepare quarterly/annual consolidated financial statements
  • Prepare various schedules for company leadership
  • Prepare annual budget and regular forecasts
  • Work with outside partners to facilitate annual audit and tax preparation
  • Oversee regulatory and tax reporting to state and federal agencies
  • Calculate and monitor key performance indicators for the company and personnel
  • Establish and monitor financial controls and procedures
  • Oversee payroll and employee benefits for personnel
  • Manage two direct reports
  • Assist with other tasks and duties as necessary

 Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or emphasis in accounting
  • CPA license a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with experience in financial services a plus
  • Exceptional knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Willingness to obtain industry license(s)
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrable organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact, coordinate, and influence across departments and staff levels
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced and growth-oriented setting
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Adaptability to fulfill evolving duties and responsibilities
  • Strong computer skills, with advanced to expert Excel skills
  • Quickbooks experience a plus
  • CRM experience a plus
  • Occasional travel required

Salary range: $75,000 - $100,000 commensurate with education and experience, plus bonus potential.
