The Donor Database Coordinator will help lead our efforts to capture, organize, use and analyze constituent data to achieve RMHC’s organizational objectives. Main duties involve daily oversight of data availability, input, report processing, and communication acknowledging donations, both monetary and in-kind. Primarily, the Database Coordinator ensures efficiency and timeliness in processing donor information and donations using best practice techniques to maintain optimal data integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the gift accounting process including the proper coding of donations into the donor database, sending appropriate acknowledgment letters, making notifications when gifts are made in honor/memory of individuals, and maintaining all donor records in an accurate and confidential manner.
- Liable for depositing monies received and performing accounting duties to balance the deposit with gift accounting records.
- Responsible for the issuance of pledge reminders for campaigns such as Phonathon and Share-A-Night.
- Responsible for data retrieval on the donor database for assigned reports, mailings, etc.
- Responsible for entering all pertinent data for fundraising events such as sponsorships paid and other duties assigned.
- Responsible for data entry to produce statistical reports needed to record the use of the Ronald McDonald House.
- Serves as a member of the professional staff and is expected to assist other staff members with duties such as registering families at the Ronald McDonald House, training volunteers with regard to office duties, and other team-type duties needed to operate the facilities.
- Required to attend some fundraising events as assigned by the Director of Development.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Development.
- Responds to inquiries from volunteers, staff, visitors, and donors periodically.
